AlexStorm, у вас файл в VirtualDub открылся?
Я когда когда попыталась открыть мне выдало
"Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'XVID' (unknown). VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable."
У меня VirtualDub версия 1.6.19
