Since 1966, Chris played by pipe bands in various local, mainly as a drummer. It was 1975, the founder and leader of the Solothurn hard rockband Krokus, at first as a drummer, then as a singer, after the arrival of lead singer Marc Storace in 1979 as a bass player. Krokus celebrated in the 1980's worldwide success - not only in Europe but particularly in the USA and Canada. In 1982 he completed the first crocus with local rock band the Zurich Hallenstadion. After his separation from Krokus 1984 he produced two solo albums on the market: 1987 Hammer & Tongue and 1993 The Good, the Bad and the Dogat both BMG / Ariola appeared. From his life in the "Jungle Rock" act his two books, dogs will you ever rock (1991) and bananas flank (2003), they allow the reader a look behind the scenes of the rock business.
